De Nederlandse inflatie sputtert tegen. Volgens het CBS tikte juli af op 2,9 procent. Een schijntje lager dan de 3,1 procent in juni, maar laat je niet misleiden: we zitten nog steeds in de gevarenzone. De eurozone haalt 2 procent, wij hobbelen achter.<\/p>\n

Huren dempen de klap, maar de supermarkt blijft een horrorshow<\/h2>\n

De huurprijzen stijgen minder snel, aldus het CBS. 4,9 procent versus 5,4 procent vorig jaar. Applaus? Nauwelijks. De pijn zit \u2018m in de dagelijkse boodschappen. Schoof’s bevriezing? Een afgewend drama, maar de huren blijven een molensteen.<\/p>\n

Rundvlees +31 procent, koffiebonen +24 procent. Een biertje tikt ook aan. Rijst, pasta, aardappelen iets goedkoper? Een doekje voor het bloeden. De consument betaalt de rekening.<\/p>\n

Nederland bengelt achter de feiten aan<\/h2>\n

2,9 procent inflatie, ruim boven het eurozonegemiddelde van 2 procent. Estland en Slowakije hebben het nog zwaarder, maar Cyprus, Letland en Litouwen lachen in hun vuistje. Nederland moet aan de bak.<\/p>\n

En er is meer slecht nieuws: economen waarschuwen voor een opleving. Het basiseffect verdwijnt, en de cijfers kunnen zomaar weer omhoog schieten. Hou je vast.<\/p>\n

Weinig faillissementen, maar de motor stottert<\/h2>\n

Slechts 8 op de 100.000 bedrijven gingen failliet. Weinig, maar dat is niet per se goed nieuws. Faillissementen horen bij een gezonde economie. Minder faillissementen betekent minder dynamiek, minder innovatie. Alleen de horeca blijft trouw aan haar faillissementsquota. Een wake-up call voor Nederland.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
