Steeds meer vermogende families in Hongkong overwegen om de komende jaren in crypto te stappen. Dat blijkt uit een nieuw rapport van het Hong Kong Institute for Monetary and Financial Research. <\/p>\n

Onder de ondervraagde family offices beheert 44% minstens 1 miljard dollar aan vermogen. Ze zien digitale assets steeds vaker als serieuze beleggingscategorie naast private equity en venture capital.<\/p>\n

Family offices tonen groeiende interesse in crypto<\/h2>\n

Het rapport is duidelijk: de interesse van rijke families in alternatieve beleggingen gaat de komende drie jaar \u201cmerkbaar toenemen\u201d. Crypto staat daarbij steeds nadrukkelijker op de radar, naast klassieke alternatieven als private equity en private credit.<\/p>\n

Giorgio Valente<\/a>, hoofd van het onderzoeksinstituut, erkent dat de markt voor digitale assets nog jong is. Maar dat maakt het juist interessant voor grote beleggers die vroeg willen instappen. Veel family offices bekijken op dit moment actief of crypto een vaste plek verdient in hun portefeuille.<\/p>\n

De enqu\u00eate werd gehouden onder 101 organisaties, zowel single-family als multi-family offices, met kapitaal uit Hongkong, het Chinese vasteland en de bredere Aziatische regio.<\/p>\n

Hongkong trekt steeds meer vermogende families aan<\/h2>\n

Hongkong doet er alles aan om vermogende families naar de stad te halen. De ambitie is helder: d\u00e9 financi\u00eble brug worden tussen China en de rest van de wereld. En het lukt. Volgens Deloitte groeide het aantal single-family offices in Hongkong vorig jaar met 25% naar 3.384.<\/p>\n

Wat dat voor crypto betekent? Reken maar uit. Als honderden family offices met miljarden op de bank besluiten om zelfs een paar procent in digitale assets te stoppen, praat je over serieus geld. En dat is precies wat hier aan het verschuiven is. Het is niet langer alleen de retailbelegger die in crypto stapt. Het rijkste geld ter wereld begint mee te doen.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
