\n In de maanden december en januari bewoog XRP zich binnen een zogeheten ‘falling wedge’ patroon. Dit is een technische formatie die vaak een voorbode is van een prijsstijging. In die periode brak XRP uit dit patroon, terwijl het tegelijkertijd boven het 50-daags exponentieel voortschrijdend gemiddelde (EMA) bleef. Direct daarna volgde een forse klim van meer dan 70%, van ongeveer $2 naar een niveau boven de $3,39.\n <\/p>\n

\n In augustus lijkt dit patroon zich te herhalen. De koers consolideert wederom binnen een ‘falling wedge’, nu na een voorgaande prijsstijging. XRP vindt hierbij ondersteuning op de 50-daags EMA en het 20-daags gemiddelde is opnieuw omgebogen tot steun.\n <\/p>\n

\n Ook de Relative Strength Index (

\n ) suggereert een mogelijke herhaling. Net als in januari is de RSI gedaald van overbought niveaus naar rond de 50, wat destijds de opmaat vormde voor een krachtig herstel. Dit betekent dat de RSI, een momentumindicator die aangeeft of een crypto overgewaardeerd of ondergewaardeerd is, nu opnieuw een soort ‘ruststand’ laat zien, die in het verleden vaak voorafging aan een aanzienlijke koersstijging.\n <\/p>\n
