De Amsterdamse AEX is niet goed begonnen aan de nieuwe dag. Nadat de beurs hoger opende, staan er nu kleine rode cijfers op de borden. Dat lijkt met name het gevolg<\/a> van zwakte bij de chippers, die het moeilijk hebben met de slechte prestaties van de Amerikaanse techsector.<\/p>\n

Europees cijferseizoen geeft beleggers hoop<\/h2>\n

Toch zijn er ook voldoende dingen om positief over te zijn omtrent de AEX en andere Europese aandelen. Zo blijkt het cijferseizoen voorlopig een stukje beter te verlopen dan verwacht.<\/p>\n

Een stevige 60 procent van de Europese bedrijven presteerde het afgelopen kwartaal sterker dan verwacht. Gemiddeld ligt dit getal op 54 procent. Wat dat betreft was er sprake van een uitzonderlijk sterk kwartaal.<\/p>\n

Daarmee lijkt het sentiment wat te stabiliseren, nadat we eerder deze maand veel volatiliteit zagen op de wereldwijde financi\u00eble markten. Die volatiliteit kwam door zorgen over de opkomst van kunstmatige intelligentie en de gevolgen daarvan voor de bedrijfsmodellen van veel gerenommeerde partijen.<\/p>\n

Onzekerheid komt op slecht moment<\/h2>\n

De onzekerheid over de toekomst komt op een slecht moment, omdat veel bedrijven en beursindices behoorlijk duur gewaardeerd zijn. Dat wil zeggen: de beurskoersen zijn zo geprijsd dat bedrijven enorme winstgroei moeten doormaken om de hoge koersen waar te maken.<\/p>\n

Dat gaat dus gepaard met een periode waarin de geopolitieke onzekerheid flink is toegenomen, en beleggers zich ook zorgen maken over de impact van kunstmatige intelligentie op sommige duur geprijsde bedrijven.<\/p>\n

Samen zorgt dat voor een klimaat waarin beleggers iets meer voor zekerheid kiezen. Zo zien we dat de dure techbedrijven wat beginnen achter te lopen ten opzichte van kleinere bedrijven in de verschillende mondiale beursindices.<\/p>\n

Dat zien we ook duidelijk terug in de AEX, die moeite heeft om boven de grens van 1.000 punten te blijven. De beursindex is er een paar keer bovenuit gekomen, maar weet het niveau voorlopig nog niet definitief te veroveren.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
