De AEX kruipt moeizaam uit de startblokken op 887 punten. Wall Street sloot gisteren af met een bittere pil na tegenvallende cijfers van AMD. Amerikaanse futures proberen zich te herstellen, maar de vraag is of het genoeg is. In Azi\u00eb zien we weliswaar groen, maar het momentum lijkt de AEX finaal te ontglippen.<\/p>\n

AMD: Keiharde Afstraffing<\/h2>\n

AMD duikelde gisteren 1,40% tijdens de reguliere handel en vervolgens nog eens een pijnlijke 6,34% in de nabeurs. De boosdoener? Cijfers die niet aan de torenhoge verwachtingen voldeden, ondanks een recordomzet. De markt is genadeloos en straft Advanced Micro Devices onmiddellijk af. Een les in realisme: beloftes alleen zijn niet genoeg, leveren is cruciaal.<\/p>\n

Ook de S&P 500 heeft het zwaar, met een daling van 1,29% over de afgelopen week. De beloofde ‘sterke zomer’ lijkt eerder een flauwe zomer te worden. Alle hoop was gevestigd op een rally, maar de realiteit is weerbarstiger.<\/p>\n

AEX: Ondermaats Presteren<\/h2>\n

De AEX? Die presteert ronduit teleurstellend. Een rendement van -0,01% over heel 2025 is beschamend. Zeven maanden verder en nog steeds onder nul. Hoog tijd voor actie, want dit is allesbehalve een bevredigend resultaat.<\/p>\n

Het sentiment is duidelijk gekeerd. Beleggers herinneren zich dat de markt ook kan dalen en nemen een afwachtende houding aan. De komende tijd zal het lastig worden om een positieve draai te vinden, zeker met de CPI-cijfers uit de VS in het vooruitzicht. Voorlopig is het dus: vasten zitten en hopen op betere tijden.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
