Is dit een gewaagde gok of een vooruitziende blik?<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-inzet-van-een-duizelingwekkende-26-000-dollar\">Inzet van een duizelingwekkende 26.000 dollar<\/h2>\n<p>Polymarket is een weddenschapsplatform dat vooral gebruikt wordt door cryptobezitters. Daar kunnen zij inzetten op de uitslag van aanstaande gebeurtenissen. Hierbij kan je denken aan <a href=\"https:\/\/newsbit.nl\/wat-is-de-kans-dat-het-nvidia-aandeel-voor-2026-een-record-breekt\/\">koersvoorspellingen van Nvidia<\/a>, maar ook sportwedstrijden, politieke kwesties en nu ook wie de persoon van het jaar wordt volgens het tijdschrift de Times.<\/p>\n<p>Maar met deze weddenschap gebeurde er recent iets bijzonders. Een anonieme gebruiker zette namelijk met zijn wallet \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/polymarket.com\/profile\/%401944dbb61fa?tab=positions\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">1944dbb61fa<\/a>\u201d maar liefst 26.000 dollar in op \u201cartificial intelligence\u201d als winnaar van de verkiezing. Dat zou zeer uitzonderlijk zijn, aangezien eerder slechts eenmaal een winnaar was dat eerder geen mens betrof. Inmiddels is dit alweer lichtelijk gedaald. <a href=\"https:\/\/polymarket.com\/event\/time-2025-person-of-the-year?tid=1765390533891\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Andere gegadigden<\/a> zijn Jensen Huang en Sam Altman met respectievelijk 16 en 7 procent. Zij liggen dus mijlenver achter, waardoor het erop lijkt dat AI een goede kans maakt.<\/p>\n<p>De spanning over de definitieve uitslag stijgt nu deze steeds dichterbij komt. Een vaste datum van bekendmaking is er niet, maar meestal valt dit tussen 6 en 12 december.
