Bitcoin <\/a>(BTC) heeft geschiedenis geschreven, maar niet in de goede zin van het woord. De maand oktober is met een verlies de boeken ingegaan en dat was al sinds 2018 niet meer gebeurd. Ondertussen is Bitcoin wel bezig met zijn tweede groene dag op rij en zien we bij veel altcoins spectaculaire winsten terugkomen.<\/p>\n

BTC daalt 3,69% in oktober<\/h2>\n

Bitcoin heeft de afgelopen maand 3,69 procent van zijn waarde verloren. Oktober werd geopend met een koers van ongeveer 114 dollar, maar is gisteren afgesloten rond 109.600 dollar.<\/p>\n

Zoals gezegd is het voor het eerst in zeven jaar dat Bitcoin geen \u2018uptober\u2019 heeft gekregen. De laatste keer was 2018 toen er 3,83 procent van de waarde werd afgesnoept. Het is te hopen dat het vervolg niet net zo dramatisch gaat worden als toen. In november van dat jaar ging de koers met ruim 36 procent onderuit.<\/p>\n

Dat is wel gelijk de slechtste novembermaand geweest sinds 2013. Over het algemeen is de elfde maand van het jaar juist een hele sterke maand voor Bitcoin. Het gemiddelde rendement ligt op 46,02 procent en de mediaan (meer betrouwbaar omdat extreme waardes geen grote invloed hebben) op 10,82 procent. Van de afgelopen twaalf keer is de maand acht keer in het groen ge\u00ebindigd.<\/p>\n

Groene zaterdag voor de cryptomarkt<\/h2>\n

Gisteren heeft Bitcoin de schade nog wel een klein beetje kunnen beperken. Donderdag stond de koers op het dieptepunt nog ver onder de 107.000 dollar.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Gisteren aan het einde van de middag werd zelfs nog de 111.000 dollar aangetikt, maar het groene licht van de Amerikaanse president Donald Trump voor luchtaanvallen op doelen in Venezuela zorgde voor een daling.<\/p>\n

Inmiddels staat de koers weer boven de 110.000 dollar, maar de belangrijkste weerstand ligt rond 112.000 dollar.<\/p>\n

Bitcoin staat 0,50 procent hoger dan 24 uur geleden en de meeste grote altcoins zijn nog ietsjes harder omhoog gegaan. Ethereum <\/a>(ETH) is 0,85 procent gestegen, Ripple <\/a>(XRP) 0,99 procent en Dogecoin (DOGE) 1,23 procent.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Litecoin (LTC) en Hedera (HBAR) vangen veel ogen met winsten van respectievelijk 4,97 procent en 4,33 procent. Deze week lanceerde Canary Capital de allereerste Amerikaanse beursfondsen voor deze twee coins.<\/p>\n

Onder de kleinere munten zijn er ook een paar echte uitschieters te vinden. Dit zijn de vijf grootste stijgers uit de top 100:<\/p>\n
