Ripple heeft een alternatief<\/h2>\n<p>SWIFT, de dinosaurus van het internationale betalingsverkeer, draait al decennia op volle toeren. Biljoenen dollars vliegen dagelijks over de wereld via dit systeem. Maar eerlijk is eerlijk, het is traag, duur en absoluut niet sexy meer.<\/p>\n<p>Ripple ruikt bloed. Morehead stelt dat Ripple een fundamenteel probleem aanpakt. Snelle en goedkope internationale betalingen zijn geen luxe, maar een noodzaak in de moderne economie. Ripple pocht een concrete oplossing te bieden, iets wat veel andere cryptoprojecten missen. Of ze die belofte waarmaken, is een ander verhaal.<\/p>\n<p>De XRP Ledger, met XRP als de heilige graal, zou de brug moeten slaan tussen verschillende valuta. Als Ripple daadwerkelijk een significant deel van SWIFT overneemt, dan, en alleen dan, kan de vraag naar XRP exploderen. Een flinke hap uit die taart voor XRP zou de koers een serieuze boost geven. Maar &#8220;kan&#8221; is hier het sleutelwoord. De eerste Amerikaanse XRP ETF, de REX-Osprey XRP ETF, gaat deze week van start. Een potenti\u00eble gamechanger.<\/p>\n<p>Dit hybride fonds investeert direct in XRP en in afgeleide producten. Dit maakt het investeren in XRP toegankelijker voor zowel grote bedrijven als de kleine belegger. Echter, laat je niet misleiden door de hype. Toegankelijkheid is \u00e9\u00e9n ding, daadwerkelijke adoptie is cruciaal.<\/p>\n<p>Een succesvolle ETF kan inderdaad nieuw kapitaal aantrekken. Bitcoin en Ethereum lieten zien dat dit een koers kan stuwen. Maar onthoud: het verleden is geen garantie voor de toekomst. Blijf kritisch en doe je eigen onderzoek.
