Bitcoin (BTC) en Ethereum (ETH): de euforie is voorbij. De afgelopen 24 uur hebben we een pijnlijke correctie gezien. Macro-economische tegenwind en een krankzinnige hoeveelheid leverage hebben de koersen genadeloos afgestraft. Laten we eerlijk zijn: dit kan nog wel even duren.<\/p>\n

Crypto bloedt: de dalingen<\/h2>\n

Bitcoin duikelde meer dan 1 procent omlaag, naar een schamele $113.700. Belangrijker nog: cruciale trendlijnen zijn gesneuveld. Alex Kuptsikevich van FxPro verwoordt het treffend: “Dit wakkert de angst aan voor een diepere correctie richting $100.000. Houd je vast.”<\/p>\n

De totale marktkapitalisatie? Ook al geen feest. Een daling van 0,4 procent naar $3,87 biljoen. Volgens Kuptsikevich een voorbode van een nog grotere correctie richting $3,6 biljoen. Auw.<\/p>\n

Ethereum verloor 0,6 procent en testte opnieuw dat fragiele steunniveau van $4.100. Ripple (XRP) kreeg een dreun van 4 procent, Dogecoin (DOGE) 1,8 procent en Cardano (ADA) zelfs een bloedbad van bijna 8 procent. Pijnlijk voor de hodlers.<\/p>\n

Macro-economische tegenwind en leverage: een dodelijke cocktail<\/h2>\n

De stemming sloeg om na de tegenvallende inflatiecijfers uit de VS. Snelle renteverlagingen door de Federal Reserve? Vergeet het maar. Marktstrateeg Joel Kruger van LMAX Group wijst de vinger: “Bitcoin zit in correctiemodus sinds het record van vorige week. De oorzaak? De Amerikaanse inflatie.”<\/p>\n

\u201cBitcoin bevindt zich in een lichte correctiemodus sinds het vorige week een nieuw record vestigde. Het sentiment is grotendeels verzwakt door hoger dan verwachte Amerikaanse inflatiecijfers.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

ETH volgde BTC in het ravijn door het afbouwen van krankzinnige hefboomposities. Leverage is een mes dat aan twee kanten snijdt. Ondanks de mis\u00e8re blijft de institutionele interesse in ETH verbazingwekkend genoeg sterk, wat duidt op enig vertrouwen. Of na\u00efviteit, dat is de vraag.<\/p>\n

\u201cEthereum weerspiegelt de terugval van Bitcoin, terwijl handelaren winst nemen. Toch blijft de bredere institutionele interesse veerkrachtig, blijkt uit stevige ETF-instroom en toenemende treasury-allocaties,\u201d aldus Kruger.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

De derivatenmarkten puilen uit van de leverage. Ryan Lee van Bitget waarschuwt: “Recordniveaus van open interest in de futuresmarkten. Die leverage vergroot de volatiliteit, waardoor BTC en ETH extreem gevoelig zijn voor scherpe schommelingen.” Een recept voor een potenti\u00eble ramp, als je het mij vraagt.<\/p>\n

Alle ogen zijn nu gericht op de volgende vergadering van de Federal Reserve. Men blijft hopen op een renteverlaging in september, wat gunstig zou zijn voor risicovolle assets zoals crypto. Maar laten we realistisch zijn: hoop is geen strategie. Blijf waakzaam.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
