Bitcoin schommelt rond de 115.400 dollar, maar vergis je niet: dit is geen status quo. Santiment waarschuwt voor toenemende winstnemingen, en terecht. Investeerders cashen in, de verkoopdruk stijgt. De vraag is: kunnen de bulls deze storm doorstaan?<\/p>\n

Zijwaartse koersactie waarschijnlijk voor Bitcoin<\/h2>\n

Santiment stelt het helder: ondanks dat we geen extreme hoogtepunten zien, loert er gevaar. De verleiding tot winstneming is simpelweg te groot.<\/p>\n

Met een koers van ongeveer 116.000 dollar zit Bitcoin slechts 6 procent onder zijn recente piek van 124.128 dollar. Een mooie stijging, inderdaad, maar van korte duur.<\/p>\n

Bitfinex wijst naar het ontbreken van sterke macro-economische drijfveren. Correct. Bitcoin mist de rugwind om echt door te breken.<\/p>\n

Zodra een record bereikt wordt, gevolgd door consolidatie, slaan beleggers alarm. Angst regeert: is dit de top? Snel winst pakken, voordat het te laat is.<\/p>\n

Bitfinex verwacht een zijwaartse beweging. Logisch. De markt wacht af, in de hoop op duidelijke signalen. Iedereen houdt z’n adem in.<\/p>\n

De rentevergadering van de Fed op 17 september wordt gezien als een cruciale test. De markt gokt op een renteverlaging (83,6% kans). Maar wat als dat niet gebeurt? Bereid je voor op volatiliteit.<\/p>\n

Veel Bitcoiners verwachten geen stijgingen op korte termijn<\/h2>\n

Het pessimisme is tastbaar. De shortposities stapelen zich op tot een duizelingwekkende 2,2 miljard dollar. Een potentieel bloedbad wacht op 124.128 dollar.<\/p>\n

Maar er is een lichtpuntje: de whales blijven standvastig. Santiment meldt dat de grootste Bitcoin-bezitters niet verkopen. Dat is tenminste iets.<\/p>\n

Wallets met aanzienlijke hoeveelheden BTC (tussen de 10 en 10.000) blijven accumuleren. Zelfs na de all-time high. Durven zij de markt te trotseren, of zien ze iets wat wij missen?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
