Peking kan niet langer ontkennen dat de Amerikaanse tarieven keihard aankomen.<\/p>\n<p>De problemen stapelen zich op: een zwalkende industrie, een vastgoedsector in vrije val en een arbeidsmarkt die bloedt. Duncan Wrigley van Pantheon Economics is glashelder: de Amerikaanse tarieven &#8220;bijten nu echt&#8221;. Jarenlang heeft China de steunmaatregelen achter de hand gehouden, maar nu de export pijn lijdt, is er geen ontkomen meer aan.<\/p>\n<p>Ook Rob Subbaraman van Nomura ziet de bui hangen: &#8220;China zal in de tweede helft van dit jaar met steunmaatregelen komen, dat is onvermijdelijk.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-rol-van-de-centrale-bank-en-de-beurs\">Rol van de centrale bank en de beurs<\/h2>\n<p>De PBOC, de Chinese centrale bank, heeft in mei al de rente verlaagd en de reserveverplichtingen voor banken versoepeld. Maar het is dweilen met de kraan open. De economie vertraagt in rap tempo.<\/p>\n<p>Paradoxaal genoeg scheren de beurzen van Shanghai en Shenzhen hoge toppen, met een totale waarde van bijna 96 biljoen yuan (ruim 13 biljoen dollar). Deze luchtbel wordt opgeblazen door particuliere beleggers en het zogenaamde &#8220;nationale team&#8221; &#8211; staatsgelieerde partijen die de markt manipuleren en stabiliseren. Dat zou niet alleen aandelen, maar ook Bitcoin een boost geven. Meer risicobereidheid betekent hogere koersen. Simpel.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-scenario-2-kapitaalvlucht-en-volatiliteit\">Scenario 2: Kapitaalvlucht en volatiliteit<\/h3>\n<p>Als de Chinese economie verder implodeert, kan dit leiden tot kapitaalvlucht. Beleggers vluchten dan naar veilige havens zoals de dollar en goud. Bitcoin zou in dat geval zwaar onder druk komen te staan. Hoewel Bitcoiners de digitale munt zien als veilige haven, is de markt nog niet overtuigd.<\/p>\n<p>De toekomst van Bitcoin hangt af van de timing en de omvang van de Chinese steunmaatregelen, \u00e9n de reactie van de Verenigde Staten.
