De Bitcoin koers<\/a> worstelt, om het zacht uit te drukken. Een duikvlucht vannacht bewijst dat de ‘bulls’ geen idee hebben hoe ze het tij moeten keren. $115.729 is de schamele oogst, een daling van 2% in 24 uur. Het is pijnlijk helder: er is actie nodig, en snel.<\/p>\n

Waarom daalt de Bitcoin koers vandaag?<\/h2>\n

De fundering van deze ‘bullmarkt’ vertoont barsten. Eerst leek alles pais en vree, maar nu? Een ander verhaal.<\/p>\n

De Amerikaanse arbeidsmarkt koelt af, de economische groei kreunt, en de inflatie… die stijgt gewoon door. Een cocktail van onzekerheid, dat is het.<\/p>\n

Toch is het nog geen totale paniek. De beursresultaten dan? Die logenstraffen de doemdenkers. De meeste bedrijven in de S&P 500 overtroffen de verwachtingen. <\/p>\n

De winsten in Q2 2025 stegen met een respectabele 12% vergeleken met vorig jaar. Analisten gokten op slechts 5%. Een flinke misser, en een teken aan de wand.<\/p>\n

Het woord “recessie” werd tijdens bedrijfspresentaties maar liefst 84% minder genoemd. Optimisme heerst, of is het wishful thinking?<\/p>\n

Minder renteverlagingen in 2025<\/h2>\n

Nog een oorzaak van de ellende voor Bitcoin<\/a>? De verwachtingen rond renteverlagingen in 2025 zijn getemperd. Tot voor kort werd gerekend op drie verlagingen van 25 basispunten per stuk.<\/p>\n

Dat zou een daling van 0,75 procentpunt betekenen. Nu voorspelt<\/a> men nog maar twee verlagingen, voor een totaal van 0,50 procentpunt. Een flinke correctie.<\/p>\n

Op zich is dat nog niet eens rampzalig. Sterker nog, drie verlagingen zouden een zwaktebod van de economie zijn. Voorlopig lijkt dat niet nodig, maar de vraag is \u00fcberhaupt: waarom zou de Amerikaanse centrale bank \u00fcberhaupt rente willen verlagen?<\/p>\n

Volgens het GDPNow-model van de Atlanta Fed groeit de Amerikaanse economie in Q3 met 2,5%. Van recessie is dus geen sprake. Maar is dat genoeg om de Bitcoin koers te redden? De tijd zal het leren.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
